Triton V8 & V10
Triton® gas engines come in 5.4L V8 & 6.8L V10 displacements. Both feature free-breathing multivalve induction (3 valves per cylinder) for responsive performance. Triton® engines deliver the highest available gas engine horsepower & torque.
New Suspension
Super Duty's  new suspension is equipped with many new features, such as staggered rear shocks for improved ride, handling and traction. It contributes as well to Super Duty’s best-in-class payload/GVWR.
Strong Frame
Super Duty's 6.7 mil steel frame rails are the thickest gauge in the over-8,500-lbs. GVWR class. The C-channel steel rail gauge thickness is increased between 10% and 17% for added strength; frame strength is increased by 10-20%.
TorqShift
TorqShift™ 5-speed automatic transmission is built to handle the massive torque of the Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel. Good news: Now it’s available with Super Duty’s Triton® gas engines.
